This is a detailed guide for librarians when checking chromebooks in and out, along with procedures for any complications with the process.

When Checking in a Chromebook for Repair
Step 1
Fill out the "Chromebook Repair Form" and tape it to the chromebook.
Step 2
Check in the chromebook in destiny
Step 3
Check out the loaner to student
Step 4
(optional) E-mail Help Desk/Technician
Step 5
Give chromebook to Building Technician
When Receiving a Chromebook from Repair
Step 1
When a student gets their chromebook and returns the loaner, check out the chromebook to the student in Destiny. Check in the loaner.
Step 2
IMPORTANT!!! Use the "Circulation >> Item Status" section of destiny to check chromebook status before checking it back out to the student. If it says that the chromebook is currently assigned to a different building, transfer it to your building in the “Item Status” section to see who it was checked out to previously.
Step 3
DO NOT check the chromebook out to student if the previous checkout does not match their name. If it does not match, inform the help desk.
